Sims 3 and College EssaysME!!!!!!
Yes, I now posses my own copy of The Sims 3. But not just The Sims 3, oh no.
I own The Sims 3 COLLECTOR'S EDITION!!!!
The summer camp I'm going to in a few weeks requires that I bring a 2GB travel drive with me. So I said offhandedly to my mom "You know, The Sims 3 collector's edition has a 2GB travel drive with it, shaped like a plumbob..."
And you know what she said??
"All right. Let's get it."
I was dancing inside
So we skeedadled over to Best Buy, used a $20 gift card, and got the Collector's edition for the price of the normal edition. I am now oogling the shiny box and playing with my new travel drive excessively.

The official application doesn't come out till August, but lots of application tips highly recommend getting your essays done over the summer so they don't hold you up when you do apply.
