Continuing with the tradition of only writing about conventions, because nothing else interesting happens to me. Went to Youmacon in Detroit with two of my college friends and one friend from high school who had never gone to a convention before. She says she will definitely be coming back next year, which is awesome. Arrived on Friday around 4 ish, had panic attacks about checking to the hotel room with regards to the wristbands and room limits, but it all worked out in the end. Seems I only write about conventions nowadays... Guess that's because nothing else interesting happens to me. So over the weekend I went to Ohayocon in Columbus, Ohio with my buddies England and Spain. We left about 3 on Friday and didn't get back till 7 on Sunday. I swear, when I stumbled into my dorm room, I felt like I had been gone a week. What is this 'college' and 'school' that you speak of? Overall, I had fun. I dressed up as Olivier Armstrong again, which is a costume I am growing to love dearly. Rereading my old journal entries, I've realized that I do a lot of random ranting on here... Maybe that's just my style... Wonderfully random! Anywho, I went to Youmacon 2011 last weekend, which was lots of fun, but very exhausting. I met a lot of new people, got to wear my awesome cosplays, and I even had like 10 people recognize me as General Armstrong! I even got hugs from two people! Woohoo!! Very few people recognized me as Blind Mag, but that was to be expected. Also, two of the guys in my hotel room snored really loudly, so I barely slept at all.
